Job Title: Facilities Electrical Engineer
Job Description:
- Manage electrical and controls scopes for capital improvement, obsolescence, and process optimization projects.
- Coordinate full lifecycle of assigned projects: scope development, bidding, equipment selection, installation, startup, and closure.
- Provide engineering support for production and maintenance teams to resolve equipment and process issues.
- Lead PLC, HMI, and robotic programming efforts across all plant facilities and systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all automation systems and changes.
- Drive improvements to existing automation technology and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory safety policies, including oversight of EHS procedures.
- Supervise contractor activity and ensure adherence to electrical codes and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience with electrical systems including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and power distribution.
- Experience managing technical projects in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.
- Programming experience with Allen Bradley/ControlLogix/Modicon PLCs.
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and other applicable electrical codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Inventor.
