Verification & Registration Clerk- Registrar

Description:

The Verification & Registration Clerk is responsible for ensuring veterans and their dependents are properly certified for educational benefits with the Department of Veteran's Affairs. This person will also assist with the registration of students, graduation process and other duties as assigned by the Registrar.

Job Duties:

  • Verify student eligibility
  • Report changes in enrollment
  • Comply with VA regulations and procedures
  • Serve as School Certifying Official
  • Assist parents and students with questions and requirements
  • Attend quarterly VA Office Hour Sessions
Requirements:

Candidate must have a minimum of an associate's degree or 3 years of experience in a work-related field.

Qualifications:
  • Must have good computer skills
  • Must be well organized
  • Must provide good customer service
  • Must have good communication skills and the ability to work with others
  • Knowledge of VA Benefits preferred
