NEW base rates starting at $16.00/hour

Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm

The Environmental Services Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for St. Mary's residents, staff, and visitors. They are responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned areas in the Home.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• At least one (1) year experience working as a floor tech, in environmental services, maintenance, or a related field
• Pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen

• Wet mops bathrooms and wipes off baseboards
• Empties wastepaper baskets/trash cans
• Cleans mirrors
• Polishes or dusts all furniture
• Cleans bathroom fixtures thoroughly
• Vacuums any carpets in assigned area
• Arranges furniture and equipment in an orderly fashion
• Replenishes supplies of soap, toothpaste, etc.
• Keeps utility storage rooms in order
• Checks corners on the ceilings to keep cob webs under control
• Cleans windows and glass doors
• Dusts and cleans all televisions
• Cleans conference rooms, Board Room, lounges, and break room
• Keeps mop buckets clean
• As needed, responds to special cleaning requests from supervisor, Nursing staff or other departments
