This is an on-site field support position.

We offer you the opportunity to utilize and expand your academic background in engineering:

1. You will work on a multi-discipline engineering team involved in nuclear power plant instrumentations and controls improvement projects. These projects integrate electrical and mechanical engineering along with control theory.
2. You will work with electronic process sensors, digital controllers, touchscreen displays, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, steam turbines, and reactors to enhance the functionality of nuclear power plants.
3. You will prepare specifications for procuring instrumentation and control equipment, as well as perform engineering calculations related to plant upgrades and modifications.
4. Through mentoring, technical sessions, and on-the-job training, you will enhance your knowledge and skills in your engineering discipline.
5. You will have opportunities to travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews and to plant sites for project coordination and field verification of designs.

Qualifications

Note: We do not sponsor work authorization in the U.S. for this position.

• A BS or MS degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, with strong coursework in analog and digital control systems.
• At least 3 years of experience in design engineering for power plant control systems.
• Courswork in mechatronics is preferred but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

$71,220.00 - $104,140.00
