Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Manager, you'll contribute to the success of a warehouse or manufacturing location for PepsiCo by coordinating the receiving, shipping, and material handling responsibilities in the warehouse. You'll design and develop product movement and storage systems, improve operations, and support the front-line staff. Responsibilities include cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety for an entire business unit across all shifts. You'll be responsible for managing numerous shifts in a non-union environment and developing a team of supervisors.

  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures in line with legal regulations.
  • Ensure quality standards of finished products are met.
  • Ensure smooth delivery of products for the Sales organization.
  • Contribute to strategic planning by providing warehouse operations information and recommendations.
  • Review and prepare action plans to meet productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
  • Achieve financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Build team capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for both hourly and salaried personnel.
  • Develop and motivate the team to resolve operational issues and achieve performance goals.
  • Lead change initiatives effectively, minimizing impact on personnel.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve operational issues.
  • Develop warehouse operation systems based on product handling and storage needs.
  • Establish processes for receiving, inventory management, gate procedures, and shipping.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to optimize workflows, space, and equipment layout.
  • Address and resolve receiving and shipping complaints to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain a presence on the plant floor and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Operate forklift and manufacturing equipment as needed.
  • Work off-shift, weekends, and travel less than 5% as required.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: $89,000 - $149,000, based on location, skills, experience, and education.
  • Performance-based bonus with a target payout of 12% annually.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, business, operations management, or related field.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, TPM, lean manufacturing), demonstrated by successful project completion.
  • Preferred: 5+ years in operations/logistics or supply chain, with at least 2 years in supervisory roles.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
  • Ability to lead team-based decision-making.
  • Proven results in challenging environments with strong leadership, coaching, facilitation, and team-building skills.
  • Must have indefinite right to work in the U.S. and a valid driver's license; a safe driving record is preferred.
