About The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Director to join our Central team based in Solihull. This senior role reports to the Regional Managing Director and involves leading a talented team to develop and implement sales strategies, manage sales teams, and drive regional growth, ensuring sales and profit targets are met while delivering a market-leading customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to individual sites.
  2. Collaborate with the group marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all channels.
  3. Drive improvements and innovation to meet evolving customer needs and trends.
  4. Develop pricing strategies for new sites and monitor existing prices and specifications.
  5. Lead, nurture, and develop regional sales teams to achieve targets.
  6. Maximize selling prices and create value while maintaining sales rates.
  7. Prepare sales forecasts and reports for regional and group boards.
  8. Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements.
  9. Manage sales progression to meet timescales, maintaining clear communication with customers.
  10. Utilize referral IFA's and solicitors to provide seamless customer service.
  11. Build strong relationships with senior leadership and other teams.
  12. Coordinate with site and project teams to ensure timely delivery of homes.
  13. Establish relationships with key stakeholders across functions.
  14. Provide customer-focused leadership and insights to improve customer experience.
  15. Address customer needs in collaboration with customer service and site teams.
  16. Manage new site launches and sales support activities.
  17. Ensure compliance with legislation and company policies.
  18. Manage the sales budget effectively.
  19. Ensure adherence to legislation such as GDPR, Consumer Protection Act, NHQB, and Consumer Code.
  20. Handle customer data responsibly and diligently.

About You

  • Senior sales experience within housebuilding.
  • Proven ability to implement and meet strategic objectives.
  • Track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Experience leading and developing large, remote teams.
  • Successful project management within budget and timescales.
  • Extensive knowledge of The Consumer Code, Consumer Protection Act, and NHQB.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Full UK Driving License.
