Are you passionate about hospitality and ready to lead in a dynamic, event-driven environment? We are seeking a dedicated professional to supervise food and beverage sales and service operations for the Hampton Coliseum, the American Theatre, the Charles H. Taylor Visual Arts Center, and other assigned venues. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality service and seamless execution across multiple facilities. Working under general supervision, you will play a key role in enhancing guest experiences at some of the region's most iconic venues.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Service, Hotel/Restaurant Management, or Business Administration.
- Three (3) years of full-time equivalent experience with progressively more responsibility in the supervising of food and beverage service for an arena, stadium, or convention center
- One (1) year of full-time equivalent experience in the supervision of food and beverage personnel or closely related experience.
- A combination of education and experience may be considered for this position.
- Must have a Food Protection Manager Certification or obtain within thirty (30) days of hire.
- Must have a Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS) or Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management (TEAM) trainer certification required or completion of certification within ninety (90) days of hire date.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and must have and maintain a satisfactory driving record based on the City of Hampton's criteria.
- This position is subject to testing for alcohol and controlled substances in accordance with the City's current substance abuse policy.
- Must successfully pass a background check prior to any offer of employment or promotion
Additional Requirements - Requires working non-standard hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, according to event schedule.
- The incumbent may be considered "essential personnel" during City emergency situations or at the direction of the City Manager which may include long hours and unusual schedules.
