Sentara is currently hiring a Senior Respiratory Therapist.This is a Full Time position with Night shift hours. Position is located in Norfolk, VA at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital !!

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is the region's first Magnet Hospital . It is a 525-bed medical center , and home to the area's only Level I Trauma Center, Burn Trauma Unit and Nationally Ranked Heart Program. In addition to a first rate heart program, the hospital is home to Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance and several dedicated facilities and specialized services. Sentara Norfolk General also serves as the primary teaching hospital for undergraduate and graduate education for the adjacent Eastern Virginia Medical School

Required Qualifications:

Education

  • Associates, Respiratory Therapy degree required.


Certification/Licensure
  • State Respiratory license
  • NBRC RRT
  • BLS required at time of hire..


Experience
  • 2 years Respiratory Care experience required

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital , located in Norfolk, VA, is a 525-bed tertiary care facility that is home to the only Level I Adult Trauma Center and burn trauma unit in Hampton Roads, and also serves as the primary teaching hospital for Eastern Virginia Medical School.
