Job Details

• Assist the PL in developing and tracking detailed project plans and schedules
• Identify obstacles and risks and implement risk mitigation strategies
• Ensure clear communication of risks to project stakeholders and to management
• Create, monitor, and report project milestones and performance metrics.

Here's what you need :

• A minimum of 4 years of related experience, including supporting software development projects
• Strong interpersonal skills to develop rapport with multiple teams and stakeholders
• Proven analytical skills with ability to assess complex situations or problems and design effective plans or solutions
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills of both direct reports and matrix style cross-functional teams
• Willingness and ability to mentor and coach others
• Experience with strategic planning and requirements development
• Proactive thinking and attitude; self-starter

Bonus points if you have :

• PMP qualification and experience in project management, leadership, and the military
• Knowledge of US Navy Readiness systems and reporting
• Knowledge of Navy Figures of Merit (FOM)

Security Clearance :

• Active Secret security clearance

Education :

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
